Duane Winslow

Owner and licensed contractor

Duane started the company to do one job well: put a standby generator on a coastal house, and be there when it's tested.

He draws every site plan, signs every quote and walks the first visit himself. The crew he leads installs the pad, the switch and the conduit; the gas fitter, the inspector and the gas company are booked by the office, so the order of the work is always on paper.

What he does

  • Site plans and load walks
  • Transfer switches
  • Flood-zone pad heights

Licensed

  • North Carolina electrical contractor license, number in the footer

How we work

Two install crews and one service truck

Working out of Castle Hayne.

The install crews do pads, conduit and switches. The service truck does yearly service and tests. We don't sell portable units or do general electrical work, which is why every truck carries what a generator install needs.
